Charity is one of the three fundamental principles of Freemasonry.
Masonic charity operates on both a national and local level, supporting many organisations and individuals inside and outside the Masonic community.

Over the last few years, our Lodge has donated to the following causes:

• Crisis at Christmas
• The Metropolitan Tercentenary appeal
• The Metropolitan cyberknife appeal
• The Metropolitan appeal for the London Air Ambulance
• Friends of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institute

In addition, members have raised money for charities outside their Masonic roles.

The Loge L’Entente Cordiale is a Vice patron of the Metropolitan Masonic Charity.
